Hi all,

May I know what is the XM-134 mini gun set by legend productions for? Isit for Armor or for Helis?

How do we use them?

Thanks
Alex

If you mean this one...

They are a Vietnam era design. I have only seen them with that type mount on guntrucks though.

Which makes sense since the same gun is included in their Gun Truck conversion set (LF1034).

They also do a more modern set intended for modern MH-60 helos and vehicle mounts.

Hi Gino,'

Thanks for the info. I was thinking of mounting it on a Huey Hog actually...

Wonder if it is possible?

Apparently they were used on short-bodied (UH-1B/C/E/F/M) Hueys. They were rare on US Army helos though.

USN Seawolf Hueys.

This is a USAF UH-1F.

I don't think it would work on a Hog though. The miniguns(s) and all their ammo and the Hog FFAR loadout would be too heavy for the helo to get off the ground. The UH-1Cs were pretty much at max weight as gunships with their organic weapons. Adding more would make them over-weight.

They were also used on UH-1Ds in the Nighthawk configuration.
