Hi there,
Recently moved to Germany (Planegg near Munich) and wondering where I can find lacquer thinner - if it's even called that here? Maybe OBI stores?
Thanks,
Jim

Well "(Paint)Thinner" is stuff like
Verdünner
Verdünnung
Farbverdünner
Farbverdünnung
in German. The Tamiya X-20A (Red Cap) can be found in some hobby stores. If you want "industrial grade/size" than, to quote an old advertisement,
"Get it from Farben Franz - oder bei OBI"
So OBI is one option as are the other "Baumarkts". Second option would be Amazon. Some useful terms might be
Terpentin = Turpentine
Terpentinersatz = White spirit
Nitroverdünnung = diluent for cell lacquer
