Anyone remember a very short lived TV show. It was called Salvage I believe.

It may have started as a TV movie about some junk dealers who go to the mood to salvage the stuff left behind by the Apollo missions.

I think there was an episonde or two of a series after this; I seem to remember a plot involving an iceberg or some such nonsense.

Probably late 70's early 80's.

I remember that show. I thought it was great at the time. Must have been 78 or so I think. Didn't it star Andy Griffith?

Here is a page I just found. "Salvage 1" was the full title and it did start with a TV movie which was just called "Salvage". I think they have the dates all screwed up. If I had to guess the original TV movie aired in 1978 and then the series was started up in January of 1979.

I remember the show it was Salvage 1. I only remember a couple episodes being aired. One involved the nose gun on some type of Japanese plane. I remember this vividly.

That site you put up Jim was very interesting. I well remember the movie of the week, Salvage 1, but I sure don't remember it being a series. I figured it might have lasted a couple shows but this says it lasted two seasons. Seems like an interesting idea, wish TV Land or Sci Fi channel would show it some time.

I remember the series - I liked it. Didn't last long though...
