I would like to make my own sign for a Polar Lights Guillotine titled "The Guillotine" in French. I looked it up in the translator and is giving me "La Guillotine" and "Le Guillotine". For our French speaking members, which one would be correct? Thanks!

The guillotine was often referred to as "Madame Guillotine," so I'd guess LA Guillotine, i/e. a feminine noun. Bing translator agrees with me. To my ear, La Guillotine also just sounds more natural.

Bonjour, It's La guillotine qui est la bonne traduction...ooops, sorry it's easy to get going when you type in your language. La guillotine is the right translation.

Al was completly right and I simply wanted to confirm what he already had stated.
