Skif kit quality

Can anyone comment on the quality of Skif kits? I'm thingking of buying on of thier BTR kits.

This thread has come up twice in the last two weeks. Both will probably pop up if you searched for Skif.

The very short version was that they make some buildable kits, and are often the only kit offered for many of their line (bmp3, , MTLB and SA vers, T64's), that the T55 is gernerally accepted to be majorly inferior to, but less expensive, than the Tamiya kit, and that they have the Eastern European/Russian multi-part hulls and some heavy molding.

I do not like the way they make their track runs in halves, and do not use thier viynl tow cables. But I am going to town on a BMP3 interior, and have built the MTLB and SA vers, and will do an OOTB T64A as well.
