I know the germans mounted the pak 40 in the 251 half track ausf. D. Would it be too far fetch to see one in an earlier model like a ausf.c or riveted body one? Like the old tamiya hanomag? Thsnks gor the help.

From what I understand, the Germans were mounting guns to anything with wheels towards the end of the war. But, I can only base this on some of the photos I have seen and do not know of the specific support requirements for mounting that gun. When it comes to this, I usually go with whatever I want to build.
