Hello All,
I'm building the 48th scale Tamiya F4D-1 Skyay and intend to do an A/C stationed at the Naval Air Test Center, NAS Patuxent, 1960. I have a question regarding the likely configuration of the plane. It wore an interesting scheme of grey fuselage, yellow wings with fluorescent red-orange panels. It's featured on the beautiful "Fast Fords" decal sheet from Fur Ball Aerodesigns. Here's the question; would this A/C have been armed? I'm thinking not. And #2; If not armed, were the barrel holes in the wings faired over? I'm thinking so?
Any and all assistance is greatly appreciated.
Happy Modeling!!!!!
