Hello all. US Army Lieutenant Colonel from Virginia here. Been modeling since 1977 (when I built a Monogram F8F Bearcat with my Dad). Just am getting into ship modeling as armor and aircraft had been my main areas of interest. Seems like a great site with knowledgeable folks. Am wrapping up a 1/350 scale Sovremenny right now. Ship modelling is much different from armor and air so forgive my ignorance when I am asking questions on the hobby. Cheers.

Welcome to the site, Matt. I think this is the most prevalent name on the forum. I'm sorry to hear that you no longer build armor. Of course, I could be jealous of anybody that can do justice to ships. Whatever occupies your workbench, have fun.
