I'm close to having my Academy 1/48 F-111 all set to build, but the canopy remains a problem. I believe the profile of the kit parts is wrong. Now I know OzMods does a replacement set, made by Falcon, that includes two each of both a closed canopy and one suitable for being posed open. However, it seems to be almost permanently out of stock everywhere except OzMods themselves - if it wasn't, I'd have added it to my order from BNA Modelworld that, when it arrives, means I'm good to go. They list it, but it seems perpetually OOS.

Now I know Squadron does one for the Academy kit, but does anybody know if the profile is correct? I can live with the closed canopy if it means being able to get the last aftermarket bit I need more easily.
