What is it about scale. In armor the norm is 1/35, 1/48 is creeping in and 1/16 is entering the picture 1/24 scale is all most shunned.
Scales in aircraft seem to stay the way they have 1/72, 1/48 with 1/32 and 1/24. You are starting to see the two and four engine planes in the bigger scales.
I know the main argument against the larger scales is the amount of space they take up but the model company's make them
1/72 submarines ,1/35 PT boats, 1/24 B-17.
Done venting thank you . I still wish there were more armor kits in 1/24 scale.

There are several armor kits in 1/24, but the quality is poor. 1/16 is becoming more popular, as they make dolls in that scale.
