I have six of these. Obviously the pin mark needs to be removed. The second photo is of a #11 blade next to the part. Any recommendations on how I should proceed?

Scrape with a chisel blade or micro chisel. You can make a chisel from a small flat head screwdriver.

That's a nasty mark for sure. First choice for me would be make the tool as others suggest.
MAYBE..... take your smallest de-burring bit, chuck it in the trusty Dremel tool and patiently work that wart down. . No booze or coffee!(well, 'till you're done anyway).
Cheers!

I found a suitable screwdriver. I'll tackle this mess tomorrow morning.

If the scraping doesn't go as well as hoped, you can always take the slightly more radical approach of shaving down all the inner detail and adding the raised lip once everything is suitably smoothed out. Unless you can get the piece clamped, I'd recommend not using a dremel. The risk of the part going flying and/or gouging your fingers is quite high.

I was able to chisel them out, with a screwdriver. As far as the Dremel is concerned, it may be a hammer but not every problem is a nail.

Good to hear it worked out. Power tools give you the ability to screw up twice as badly, in half the time.
