Hi all,

I have been out of the model building hobby for a little bit of time and since coming back to it I have found that the online sites I used to buy from are no longer active. What is the best online supplier for a wide range of model kits, after market accessories, and paints? Also I see a lot of posts regarding acrylic paints, what is the benefit of using acrylic over using enamel and what is the best brand of acrylics?

thanks for your replies

Dave

The best ones that I frequent are

Scalehobbist. http://www.scalehobbyist.com/

and

Sprue Brothers. http://www.spruebrothers.com/

Good selection of kits, supplies and parts.

I probably will get a lot of flak for this reply but , try eBay sure you have to do comparison pricing but do a search with free shipping for the type of paints your looking for . In my experience with the Mr Hobby paints they are cheaper .

hobbyeasy.com; megahobby.com (for supplies); I second scalehobbyist.com. I buy most of my paints from them.
