Hi Everyone
I was wondering if anybody had any experience with transporting dioramas or models when travelling by plane.
Just let me know how you packed it, did you transport them by hand on board? What size? What are the airline rules about this etc...
Thanks

I would recommend shipping the model and picking it up at your destination.

Shipping a built diorama would probably damage it.

I made up my mind a long time ago , that if you are dead serious building models you must never move . So when I bought a home I made sure it had a basement that I could call my domain and nobody else is allowed . Well there one exception , that's the cat and she learned a long time ago paws and teeth off the models .

Shipping should be no more hazardous than allowing baggage handlers to handle it.
