I'm not sure this belongs in this section and if it doesn't then please move it to the proper section...
I just need to vent. Today I went to try to take some pictures of my just finished M5 Stuart. I got my camera, the battery and the... invisible SD Card I almost exclusively use to take pictures of my models. It's really a Micro SD and Micro SD to SD adapter in one- the last Micro SD adapter that I have that still works. And I'm upset because I just used the dang thing last week to take a few pictures of a 1/144 Tomcat I'm building that I will use in a dio later on. And I'm also upset because it has almost ALL the pictures I've taken of the kits I've take pictures of along with pictures of some other things like cloud formations and some aircraft, cars, etc. Its has a pretty good capacity too...
Sorry just needing to vent right now. I'm really upset with myself that I can't remember where I put that card.

Check your PC and laptop and see if you left it plugged in, I have done that before.

Been there, done that. I checked the card slot on my laptop (I have a PC but I haven't used it in god-knows-how-long), the card slot on my printer, and the slot on my camera (5 times) but its not there. I moved my entire bed out of the way to check under it. I looked all around my room and the living room, kitchen, and dining room. Heck I checked my moms camera to see if by chance it was there. But to no avail. It was not were I usually keep my SD cards (on the overhang of the actual bed next to my mattress (odd place to keep them I know, but at least it's always in the same spot)) or anywhere else I would've had it. Only place I haven't checked where it might be is my car.

Last guess check the box of the model you were taking pictures of.

Go get a new SD card, being careful to pay the highest price you can. Then take lots of pictures of all your models, with extra attention to taking extra detail photos of your current WIP. Once you have completed those two steps I assure you your old SD card will immediately turn up.

Whenever I am really stumped looking for something I'd ask myself -- If I were xxx, where would I be? May not work all the time, but heck you'll do anything to find something important to you! Cheers

I checked there too, Darren, along with the other boxes of the stuff I'm working on.
And that always works doesn't it, Mark? Unfortunately, if that's what would get the card back, I won't be getting it back for a while now.
And I have to ask Jon, whats it mean?
And I checked, Peter.

Well I had to ask... It piqued my curiosity. And I don't quite understand what you mean...

Similar situation, micro-SD 'pinged'
Turned the hobby room over to find it... Nada.
It "turned up" in my Chinos turn-ups, but only as I was taking them out of the washing machine...
I'll go lie down now...
