Hi all
I have a pot of Mr Hobby Dissolved Putty. I've found it absolutely great for filling those hard to get at areas.
Problem is, that despite replacing the lid as soon as possible, the contents are drying at a rate of knots. Despite using only a fraction of the jar, I'll soon end up with a jar of Mr Hobby Thick White Gunk.
The label on the jar is in Japanese, so I've no idea what thinning agent to use with it. Is it lacquer based, alcohol based etc etc?
Thanks for any help you can give
Andy

Same problem here (with MR Surfacer too), also do not read Japanese. I wish they sold the stuff in bottles half as large.
I use a little liquid glue (Tamiya extra thin) when it is at the thick gunk stage for individual applications, but this does not solve the overall problem.
Sorry I cant help with an answer, but will subscribe and hope you (we) get a reply.

Tamiya extra thin is alcohol based. Experiment on a sample with acetone and/or lacquer thinner.
