Hi gang!
There is an aftermarket decal maker here in Brazil that developed a new kind of decal, you use it like a regular decal, but when itīs fully dry you can remove the transparent film of the decal and the result is a transfer like, he called it WET TRANSFER, and you can read a review that appeared on Hyperscale site, following the link bellow:
http://decals.kitreview.com/decals/fcm4818reviewrb_1.htm
He promisses a new and wide range of this kind of decals to a near future.
I know him personally, and he told that some big kit manufacturers has already contact him to include their decals on their kits, letīs see what can happen....
Cheers to everyone, and MERRY CHRISTMAS (:-)

This is good news. I hope that he will make some in 1/35 scale also. Do you know if he will make custom decals?

Felipe is indeed a very fine gentleman, and produces some AWESOME decals. At present he is concentrating on sheets for WWI aircraft, but I think if he could be persuaded that demand exists, he would produce. Encourage all to visit the fcm web site. Regards, Rob

Hi Rob,
I do agree with you about Felipe, there are some rumors that heīll release something for armor fans, but itīs only speculations until now...
But what caught my attentio was this new way to use the decals, I got the opportunitty to test his demoīs decals and itīs impressive, just like a regular transfer, but with the easiest way to apply from the water slide regular decals... amazing! (:-)
Cheers (:-)

Yes! Iīve tried, my sample was a demo sheet, but I could visualize how good it is, itīs incredible! But I found it adheres better on an smooth surface, just like a gloss coat, but it comes ok to flat finishes too!
He just release a set of this new decals for ALL the brazilians P47 in Italy during WWII, with some good news, there is also a version with a nose art (a Pin Up) very recommended. The sad is thatīs for while itīs just in 1/48, Iīm waiting for the 1/72 version of this sheet.
Cheers and keep tunned!
Merry Christmas (:-)

I like that idea very much, can't wait to see more.
