Hi Guys, I got to take my annual trip to Venture Hobbies in Wheeling Ill. today. Each year my wonderful wife takes me there and lets me pick out what I want for Christmas. This years haul was a good one
DML firefly Vc
DMl T-34 85 UTZ Model 1944
DML T-34 76 Model 1940
Dragon Panhard Typ 178 (Railway version)
DML Soviet Infantry tank riders
DML Frozen Battleground(moscow 1941)
RPM PZInz.126 Russian command tank
I'm suppose to limit myself to $100 dollars, but as you can see I rolled those puppy dog eyes and she let me slip in a few extra. Gosh, I love that woman

Congrats! You know, I think our wives go easy on us and support our hobby because they know that we are not out partying, boozing it up and chasing other woman.
They know we are at home with our modeling.
This is a great hobby for the married man !
Merry Christmas,
Garry

Yep
They should be bringing us fresh kits monthly
Because the above is so very true, but the wives end up being "widows" to the plastic/resin/PE in a small sense...
it keeps me off the streets.

I always get a lump of coal in my stocking. How do you model a lump of coal?

Nice one waterboy. Wives like that are hard to beat. My own missus bought me an evolution airbrush and a cordless dremel. I stocked up on kits at our recent IPMS bring/buy/swap meeting. Got 15 kits for around $70. Tamiya M3, M5, bradley...all with PE. Italeri T34/76. Several samller tamiya sets like artillery pieces and motorbikes and a load of Dragon figures. I know they all are older versions, but as Ive only been modelling for 3 years, Ive missed these and they still look attractive to me!
So I´ll have plenty of fun with older kits and new tools to practice with. Cant wait!

Ich gratuliere!! Question is: are you actually going to get to "play" with the goodies on Christmas Day?? or will you have to wait a Decent Interval while doing Xmas schmoozing?? Hint: given the obvious character of the Lady, I've a feeling roses from WalMart (pretty cheap) would do as well as jewelry. Blessed Christmas to all modelers everywhere, Rob

Rob, The only thing keeping me from "playing" with my new toys is all the other projects I currently have going. Right after Christmas I'm going to have to buckle down and finish my operation cover up dio or I won't make the deadline (:-) Thanks for all the nice comments about my great wife, she sure knows how to keep me happy

Guys,
There's less than one week to new year, but still no sound from "Ladymodeler2"
Do i have to pass such an x-mas, especially at the birthplace of Santa Claus ?
(I mean Turkey, as u know) .
Yeah waterboy..u're a lucky guy..Merry Christmas to you and to all :-) (:-)
