That`s a really nice link and more important it`s a link that still wasn`t bookmarked nor that I had seen it before so this is a gold link with loads and Loads of good usefull pictures

Not a bad site at all, however there are some really strange translation quirks in the titles of the pics, and the time-line is frankly bad, the assumption being that tanks were used in the first assault waves....



This is not a bad introduction, however, little substitutes a decent reference book on the subject, Max Hasting's 'Overlord' is as good a place as any to start. A genuinely good, warts and all, account of the operation.....Jim

If you´re interested i this matter you can read the book "D-Day" by Stephen Ambrose. I did it and I like it very much.
