Yes it is built to be RC (i.e. stuffing boxes, ballast chambers, balanced, water tight) but I have not installed the running equipment.
Not much of a collector, more of a builder. My late wife restricted me to x amount of shelf space, so I started ebaying off the old after a new model was added, and over the years just went to building and then ebaying so as to keep a tidy house (Spartan background in my childhood).
May in the future begin to build up a collection again (at one time I had over well over 100 planes, tanks, ships) but for now I just like to build them, and the other guys can collect them.
