Hello everyone.

The frames and brackets for the fenders included with the Griffon Models photo etch update set for the Panzer IV J have a series of dimples yet the instructions don't tell me what to do with the dimples?

Were these frames welded on, bolted on or did they have rivets?

Thanks everyone.

You form the dimples . You could use an old ball point pen . Just remember to anneal the brass to make forming the dimples easier . Or you could make the tool for the dimples from say an old machinist scribe just make sure the point is blunt .

Thank you for your answer.

That's what I thought. I mounted one side's worth of frames and brackets without doing this yet, my plans are model a beaten down, heavily weathered tank in the early weeks of 1945 so, all should be covered up with mud and muck and stuff.

Thank again.
