I called up military hobbies on tuesday agian,
to tell them i still did not get my order.
so i called up, and dave the owner was not there.
so i told the guy to have him call me back and dave never got back to me
so 5 hours went bye and i was really mad.
so i called my credit card comapny to dispute the charge.
so i called the hobbie store back and said. still no package,
and he started to say that its the holidays and they shiped it ground.
but last week i order from squradon and mondai i got my order,
on moday just a week,
and dave said he was going to look in to and he was going to call me to day still no phone call.
then i said ship me another one.
he would not do it cause he said the one he shiped was in the mail.
but i really think its lost,
so if its not here bye friday iam calling him up and iam going to tell when my karl morser
comes iam sendiing it back to them,.
then i told him he will hear from my lawyer.
and he said there was not need and i said yes iam going to sue u lol
so this company is crapy never agiab will i buy from them

That is so unlike them. I had them send me the wrong kit. I called them and told them of the mistake. Dave said he would send it out that day. I sent the kit I didn't order back free of charge . The next day I got my correct kit.

If they shipped it UPS ground, can't they give you the tracking number so you can see where it is?

I agree this seems rather odd for them as I have heard nothing but glowing comments about MH in the past.

Ahh....yes then it's likely the USPS lost it. Difficult situation for both parties. This is why I like using UPS for stuff like this. Although even with UPS it is up to the shipper to make a claim and get reimbursed, etc.

If it's USPS then more than likely it's just because of the hollidays. At the best of times USPS is slow, after Thanksgiving they're like molasses in winter.

Probably the USPS. Everytime I've dealt with Dave, I've been given very courteous and good customer service, unlike GreatModels.

If you're refering to Dave Scheel, I've met him personally and been to his retail/Mail order outlet in Markham, Ontario (just outside of Toronto). He strikes me as a decent enough fellow and if he shipped it from that location using regular post, then he has to deal with both Canada Post and the USPS (god help you and your Karl!!)

I have ordered from MH and Dave 5 times in the last 2 years and only once did I have a problem and it was in, ......DA DUM..... Dec. My sister works at the post office in canada and always tells me to mail my stuff in Nov if I want it to get there by x-mas, HAHA. How long are we talking about? A friend mailed me a post card from Hartford Connn, and it took almost 3 weeks to get up here. I hope you get your stuff Tazz.

Tazz,
I am glad to hear the issue is resolved and that they got more of that item in-stock to ship one out.

I changed the topic title to indicate to those who might have read this that its been resolved.

Thanks,

Jim

A little different situation, but same idea. Mine is with Fed-EX. I order a set of Magnesium TZ250 racing wheels for my bike. The money changes hands, the pkg is shipped across the USA,it makes it to the Distrabution hub 23 miles from my house. At
which point it becomes MIA. The shipper files a claim, for which it was not insured for the amount I PAID FOR IT. He gets his money from FED -EX I GET THE BIG WHEENEY.
No money back ........no wheels........$1185 down the tubes. I wouldn't sweat a $100 KARL.

Now dont quote me on this, but I believe UPS charges an extra 50 bucks for customs fees... Had a few friends use it for ebay purchaes from the states... Best to take a good look and if thats the case, go with UPS... Might save a few dollars..

As for military hobbies, Ive been to the store and met Dave as well.... Daves been nothing but courteous and extremely helpful with purchases and orders...

When the original package finally arrives are you going to send it back to Military Hobbies?

Paul.

Well my package from Great Models finally arrived. My only complaint with them is that when you place your order the item is listed in stock. After waiting over a month for my order it finally comes. I look at the invoice and see that almost everything I had ordered had been out of stock (4 out of 5). and that one of the items had been cancelled (the new Academy machine gun set). So my only issue with Great Models. If you don't actually have it on your shelf in your warehouse.....IT AIN"T IN STOCK!!!!!!!!!!! Ifeel for you Tazz, but I guess one thing I never do is order internationally. Too much uncertainty and shipping usually just makes it not worth the hassel. Squadron may be a bit higher, but I am told at the time if an item I want is out of stock. I have always gotten 100% of what I ordered and usually within 2 days (I live only 25 miles from them)
