When I leave a comment, there's not a notification (on-site or via email) that tells me without going back to the page that someone replied to me. Would be nice to be able to subscribe to these posts like a forum post.

Great idea. I need to add that functionality. Technically you can opt to go to the forum topic on any of those discussion threads, and from that point you *could* subscribe to the topic, but your idea still has a lot of merit. Eventually following a topic will be part of getting instant notifications while you are on the site. With probably a daily update log being send via email as an option as well.

Great! One other place would be the inbox. I just noticed I don't get notified via email when I get a message on the site.
