I am trying to find a book that will teach me how to paint and weather models. I have found a couple, but the reviews say they are limited in content. Does anyone know of a book that will show me "how to" in a more complete format?

Maybe you should check the net for some fine "How to" videos.
I learned a lot from the famous Mr. Jimenez.
Basic tech. for painting & weathering is based on a do it yourself. Following the instructions from those videos and a lot of experimenting will get you on route for a personal touch in creativity.

Succes.

There is a 3 volume series called " Advanced Techniques: painting and weathering military vehicles" from Auriga Publishing International. These books show alot of different models being built up and the weathering techniques used. At one time Squadron carried them. Don't know if they still do.

Most of what I have learned came from this forum and Youtube. I concur that Mig Jimenez is a master. You can read some of his articles, for free. I believe that he also posts here, from time to time.

Osprey do some. The Tony Greenland Panzer Modelling Masterclass is still a classic. The Micheal Rinaldi Tank Art series is current and excellent too.
