Would anybody be interested in participating in a Weapons of Mass Destruction Campaign? The campaign would be open to all armor, ships, aircraft, space, dioramas, figures and science fiction models.

In summary, any type of weapon system that creates massive damage using chemical, biological, nuclear, EMP and other means would be allowed.

Subjects would include such things as the Atomic Cannon, Snark Missile, B70 Valkyrie Bomber, George Washington class submarine, and NCC 1701 D Enterprise.

Part of the campaign would be for the modeler to provide either a history or back story for their entry at the start of their build. A minimum of four photos of the build in progress and two completed photos would be a campaign requirement.

I should think that the campaign would run for a 6 month period. Hanger queens and partially completed models would be allowed with scratch building and kit bashing also encouraged.

I have a black Labrador Retriever that does that too. She also likes rabbits, squirrels, birds, moles and groundhogs. Cute kittens, are those yours?

This may be too visceral a campaign suggestion. I have a Revell Snark that I would like to use if this Campaign gets off the ground. Boomers, missiles, bombers any one?

They're not mine; that's just a random picture I trawled off the 'net. Our Landlady doesn't allow pets

Or something as small as a briefcase, a delivered package, or reality television.

It's a nice idea. It's a pretty dark subject though. I might jump in, a lot depends on time frame. This one qualifies as a Kitmaker wide campaign, so you might want to post the idea in over on some of the other forums as well.

The Dr. Strange Love Slim Pickens as Major Crime riding the bomb would qualify in the figure category. Great film, great actors.

We have seven who have expressed interest in a WMD campaign. Are there any mariners who are interested in building a boomer or frigate?

This proposed campaign would include a wide variety of weapon systems and will be Kit Maker wide. Someone might be interested in building the Death Star or Imperial Star Destroyer from Star Wars.

I would like to start in early 2015, say February and run for six months, ending 1 Aug 2015.

The WMD Campaign is a Kit Maker Campaign open to all scale models both real and fictional (gadgets, figures, aircraft, ships, bombs, rockets, spacecraft) a weapon that can destroy vast area's or populations in a single strike.

In summary, any type of weapon system that creates massive damage using chemical, biological, nuclear, EMP and other means would be allowed.

Hanger queens and partially completed models (50%) would be allowed with scratch building and kit bashing also encouraged.

Campaign Guidelines / Rules
1. Kits can be any subject and scale that could destroy vast area's or populations in a single strike.
2. A Kit may be partially built at the beginning of the WMD Campaign; no more than 50%.
3. The WMD Campaign ribbon will be awarded for a completed model picture posted to the WMD Campaign Gallery. Post at least 2 photos of the build to the forum and 2 photos to the gallery.
4. Be creative and have fun.

Our move should be complete my end of Spring, I should be able to re-start my workshop. I have a couple boomers I can add to the build. Maybe the 1:200 Vulcan. Cheers
