Hello there. My name is Andrew Portsmouth and as well as being a keen modeller, I run a model shop in South Wales called Raven Scale Models where I manufacture microprocessor-controlled lighting kits for static models.

Andrew, welcome to the site. Your lighting system sounds great. Post some photos or video to show how it works.

You can see them at http://www.ravenscalemodels.com
There is a video review that can be watched on there.

I live and work out of Llandovery which is about 30 miles north of Swansea. Are you familiar with Wales?
P.S. Appreciate the Welsh welcome!

Very familiar with Swansea and West Glamorgan
My dacu lived in Pennard so I spent a lot of my youth there. I recall a hobby shop in the pedestrian zone of Swansea not far from the quadrant. My parents would buy me little 7 2nd scales to keep me from moaning about boredom too much.
Halcyon days of youth.

I suspect that my wife uses much the same tactics to keep me quiet.
I think I remember that hobby shop - not there anymore unfortunately. The Gower hasn't changed much. Still a good place to visit.

I would love to go back. There was an alcoholic cat that loitered around the gower Inn waiting to polish off glasses.

The shop was Swansea Models and Hobbies, spent many an hour in there, it moved a couple of times including a bigger shop around the corner from the arcade it started in. Pretty sure one of the sons who ran the shop with the father is still around, believe I saw him on the west Glamorgan ipms stand at a show last year.
