I am 73 yrs. old and have got back into modeling about 2 yrs. ago. My problem with the new stuff are the tracks. I have tried Magic Tracks without much success. I hate to spend $30 or $40 dollars on metal tracks although they do look great. When i buy a model now I look to see that it has the old rubber tracks. I have read up on all the tracks and can't figure how to weather them before putting them on the vehicle. ( Keep falling apart ). My models don't look all that bad but i would like to make some of the newer models with different tracks. Who knows, maybe in another 10 or 20 yrs. I will try working with Photo-Etch parts.
