Like a lot of others, I am re-discovering the joy of building models after a 20 hiatus from them. A neighbor down the street was going to throw out 3 unbuilt 1/48 scale plane models, and 1 unbuilt 1/35 scale tank model! When my wife told me this, I immediately gave them a good home.
I have decided to start with the tank model as a simple dio, and then move on to the planes. After looking through the site, I realize that I have a lot to re-learn and then some!
I look forward to the wealth of knowledge that this site and it's members have to offer.

Welcome back and welcome aboard to Armorama, the very Best modeling site on the web. There's so many of old farts that have gotten back into modeling that somebody gave a name to us, Modelesarus. Sounds like you're ready to join those ranks.

Welcome, glad to have you with us. I recently got active in the hobby again myself by coming into several kits that were going to be tossed out also. They were going to be tossed and a guy saved them and then sold them to me. I mentioned them in my first post in Introductions. Let us know if you need anything. This is a great site.
