Hi all, In scale modeling, Future or its equivalent has many uses. My other hobby is building and launching model rockets. Some people have a hard time applying Future whether it is by brush, cloth, or airbrush and absolutely hate it. In rocketry it is mostly used as a final clear cote. Do you have any problems applying Future?

I have not had any issues with using future. I think I had only one case where it fogged/clouded up on me. I removed it with some ammonia and tried again. Usually Future is used to apply decals. You apply Future before applying the decals then another application of Future after all the decals are applied to seal them up and to prevent silvering. I used to build rockets decades ago, I think before there was Future or whomever discovered using Future on models and I remember just using Clear Dope (from the RC plane hobby) to make it look all nice and shinny.

Cheers
