Hi,

I'm looking to do a model on an early M113, Canadian Armed Forces, circa 1969/70 in 1/35th scale. I think that there are three more or less suitable kits: Tamiya, Italeri and Academy. I'd appreciate opinions on which one would best suit the project. TIA for any advice!

Hi Gary,

Your question would probably better seen if it was in the armour category.

Academy would be your best bet as they still have the top kit of the M113 on the market. (A new tool would be great!)

I am not an expert but I assume you will have to do mods to make it a Canadian version. Its pretty rare to build anything out of the box if you want it to be Canadian.

Also check these guys out at this site. Its the place to go for Canuck military vehicles.
