Hi Guys
have started new 1/72 scratchbuild of treibwagen using method i used on building r/c aircraft, ie building in two halves to keep it all straight then fitting halves together, will post more pics as i go along if anyone interested.

Looks like nice work so far on this build.

What thickness of plastic card are using ?

The 'spacers' are a good idea for what is a quite long wagon, for ensuring the sides are parallel and to prevent possible warping. I imagine the real vehicle would have had "bulkheads" welded inside too.

One of these wagons is on my scrathbuild list as well, I'll be watching your progress

i used 30 tho plastic card then doubled up in betwen bulkheads with another layer of 30 tho card to stop any warping.
