hi i'm new here and building my first model kit in years: Dragon Tiger I initial production.
i sanded too much where the back hull meets the underside of the tank trying to remove extra glue and i sanded a little too much and made the welding seam almost disappear
i wanted to share a technique i just figured out for making decent looking welding seams: apply a thin bead of glue where you want the seam. then roll a dime (or any ridged coin)along the bead of glue pushing down into the glue/goopy plastic and leaving a trail that looks just like the seams on the kit

If the gap is too large, you can fill it with a piece of stretched sprue, and then do your dime trick. The sprue acts like a weld bead.
