Well I think it is good but could be better. Really hard to see them lines and I still end up bending most in in hand where control is better. also even after hitting ends down still gaps at edges. On tool score out of 5 stars I give it 4

FWIW, I had the small version some two years ago when I re-entered the hobby.
Received a newer long version and it is a black base with a purple top. Cool colors! And easier to see the parts.

I got one a little while ago also, the $40 one. Mine has a black base and a natural metal finish on top. I have not used PE ever before, but will on my next project. I am either going to build an M1A2 by Trumpeter or the M110A2 by Italeri. Either case I already purchased the PE kit.

At the risk of being degraded back from GeneralFailure to MajorMistake, could I ask : "what's a Hold & Fold" ?

Hey guys,
Besides the long waiting issues for the "Hold n Fold", Jon at Mission Models is now starting to make a new folding machine. Different that the Hold-n-Fold, and (I have not seen it) is should be better. It is called "Etch Mate".
