I got this topic from a non-modeling related forum that I'm a member of. It's just what the name says, talk about your recent purchases. It can be modeling related or not (but an emphasis on modeling-related ). But it has to be allowed on the forum, obviously.

Well, the purchase before last included a mistake, I ordered 2 RoG P-26 Peashooters. Only one decal choice in the kit, a blue one, so then I had to order a set of decals to make an OD one, but paying $9 to ship $4 in decals seemed foolish, so I added a 1/72 jeep to the deal.

Mark, I've made a mistake sort of like that as well... I bough a 1/35 Trumpeter M4A1 set but I meant to buy a M4A1 w/ RIS set. I used them anyway.

I forgot to mention what I bought. I had bough an AFV Club M41A3 Walker Bulldog, a 1/2oz can of Humbrol Matte Khaki, and a can of Testors Dullcote spray. All for $48.

Usually build AC, but there is a Tamyia M41, in my garage stash, where I've plugged up the cavities under the mufflers, filled in the motorized kit holes. Foolishly, I've drilled out the view ports and tried to fill them with bits of clear acrylic..

Just bought my father in law a Nissan yesterday, to replace his aging Trooper.

Model related? Bought myself some chisel blades and super glue today for current project.

I did the Squadron thing like Brian did. I got $600+ for a little over $300. I didn't have a buddy to go halves with me though. What I did have is 17 consecutive days of work. I get Thanksgiving Day off and go back and work Black Friday at double time and Sat & Sun at time and a half.(big time whining) So overtime $$$ bought me all of those kits. My Christmas gift to my self.
Lots of Alpine figures, some armor and books. But the most out of the norm for me is Trumpeter's HMS Barham. Barham is my family name and if you look in any phone book there aren't a lot of us. So I claim distant cousin on this one . Never built ship model.
Have a good Thanksgiving all !

Does preordering Meng's Achzarit count? If so, that would be my most recent.

Prior to that, it was the Desert Eagle Publishing book on the D9, and a Jeff Shiu Fallschirmjager w/ Panzerschreck.

very happy with that.

Kylie

I am waiting on Miniart to release that tram...

Yesterday I bought a can of Model Master Olive Drab spray paint and a Tamiya Willys MB jeep. And today... A pin vise drill set and Testors quick dry cement... To use, hopefully, on a D-Corporation M4A3E8, if it ever gets delivered...

Managed to snag a Hasegawa YF-16/CCV demonstrator and a Novo P-51A from my favorite hobby shop on Sunday. I'd share photos but I managed to get unattached to my camera battery.
