Dear all,

After having faced quite some difficulties in painting my Revell 5 t MAN in UN white, I have some reamining problems to solve. (By the way, not the only ones with this Revell truck. In order to get it to the same standard as the Trumpeter SLT, an extensive use of Eduard Etch was a must.)

The semi gloss UN white was realized with the help of Air Crafts Colour spray, 244.9010.4, RAL 9010, Silk gloss.
The UN decals are replaced with the help of templates.

Since I want to use the MAN on my trumpeter SLT Franziska as a home coming truck, I kindly want to have your advise on:

1. the accentuating of the panel lines and
2. the realization of subtile rain streaks.
Since returning equipment from missions is carefully cleaned before being shipped and, even, cleaned again in the port of arrival (for health safety and environmental reasons), these streaks must be very subtile.
Mig Jiménes' book FAQ, pag. -88- advises the use of sand or earth. Not a good idea on UN white I guess..........

So, who of you can help me out?!

Thanks in advance,

Paul
