There are a few ways. The easiest is to bend them gently by habd further than what you want and let them recoil back some. You can also heat them in hot water and then place them onto a shallow plate to get a bit of sag.

The easiest way to hand bend them is to stress the blade a little at a time from the root to about 1/3 or 1/4 away from the tip. Practise this by placing your thumb between your index and middle fingers. Push up with your thumb as you push down with your fingers on either side of it. Now put the blade across your thumb crosswise so that your index and middle fingers are alligned with the span of the blade. Press to bend it two or three times, then move down the blade and repeat. You can always come back and bend it a little more if it doesn't look right.

I am not sure as I have not tried this myself, but I believe I read somewhere, that a great way is to heat the blade TOP ONLY with a hair dryer, about a third to halfway down. Heating on top makes the molecules of plastic on top a little more excited and top of chord stretches more than the bottom which is still cool???? any one else heard of it or know where I heard it from ?

thank you Brian. I never heard of this, but the physics is correct.
