Hi all,
Sad news Tom Clancy passed away yesterday aged 66.
I have to say he is/was my favorite author, his attention to detail legendary.

Once I first read the Hunt for Red October I was hooked.

Saying that I have been disappointed by his latter efforts when written in collaboration with other writers, they seem to have lost the believability.

He will be missed.

Now I have to find a new decent techno thriller author.

RIP to the very well informed and excellent author. I started reading one of his series, while I was in Russia. The descriptions were precise right down to the number of steps, trees and placement. This was of a military base.

Mine too, i`ve read, read and re-read my copy so to hear of his passing is quite a blow.My only hope is someone will make a movie of it but perhaps the terrorism aspect at the start is a bit too near the knuckle at the moment.

RIP Buddy.
