I picked up a Verlinden Country House. It is made of ceramic and resin. What is the best way to assemble it? Ceramic glued to ceramic and resin then glued to ceramic.

I went ahead and used white glue to start building assembly and it seems fine so far. I watered it down and used a brush to fill the seems...so far so good! In 24 hours I will see how it actually works....Im answering my own questions here! Thats whats great about this site...improvise..what can I apply from what I've learned here.

I think over time you will find your selection of adhesive will let you down.

EPOXY would have been a better choice.

On plaster kits I use a slightly watered down 'white' glue AND hole/pin method. I drill matching holes in each piece and use either a cut down paperclip or toothpick and clue in place.
In that kit I don't think the glue will fail, because there are no 'load bearing' joints. RotorHead67 does make a good point about white glues, some will dry and become brittle and fail over time.

I use two part epoxy for any multi-media joint.

Thanks..What I'll do is use epoxy on the inside wall joints to add strength and also to secure the resin parts to the house. This should atleast keep it together for me. (:-)
