I had to take a resin part off a plastic model due to misalignment errors (oops!). I used Zap Z-7 Debonder. The debonder worked, but it left some dried pink residue.

What can I use to remove this gunk without damaging the plastic or resin?

Thanks!

You will need to lightly sand it with fine grit paper. Alternatively, I believe paint thinner will remove the residue. I have used acetone, before. It works well, but you have to douse it in water every 20-30 seconds.
