Hi,
I'm new to this part of armorama.com and so I need the RR guys advice. I'm building a small diorama in 1/76th scale with a side of a hill in it. So with that in mind I would like to know how would you make patches field grass in an wooded area, small enough for the scale I'm working in and still make it look presentable?
Thank you

Hi,

Sorry nobody else has answered, but might I suggest looking at HO railroad scenery material? HO is 1/87 scale, slightly smaller, but the landscaping material comes in multiple textures. I use my HO scenery material for my dioramas almost all the time, with good results. You might try your local hobby shop or check online at a model railroad supply site, such as Woodland Scenics, or Walthers.

Hope that helps.

Scenic express - see their website. Model RR paradise, many many tall grass options in very popular HO scale. 1:87/ 72 will be close enough.
