Just wondering if there is a company that makes these? I'm not a scratch builder so that is not an option, but I could use a couple for some modern vehicles I'm planing.

Anyway, thankful if anyone can help!

it is REALLY easy.....
give it a shot.. you never know!

all you really need is a hobby knife, a drill and some patience...

find a picture of one you like.. or a drawing....like this one...

https://www.google.com/search?q=spineboard&client=firefox-a&hs=f0r&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=sA8QUtTPNovlyAHBwIDgCQ&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAQ&biw=1600&bih=728#facrc=_&imgdii=_&imgrc=lX_t0SdHUrAMWM%3A%3B_wrlibZBQ_HuMM%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.oempromo.com%252Fupload%252FProd_421%252F16--Spineboard_53526341.jpg%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.oempromo.com%252FApparel-and-Beauty%252FMedical-Equipment%252Findex_9.htm%3B171%3B571

scale it to the size that LOOKS RIGHT..copy it, white glue it onto a piece of plastic stock, cut it out... punch out the areas where the hand holds go with the drill.. clean it all up with some sandpaper... throw two pieces of small rectangular stock lengthwise down what will now be the back of it.. and your done!

I vote for scratching one as well.

If you can't or really don't want to try it, there are a few out there, but they are parts of other sets. I don't know of any available by themselves.

Pro Arts has one in their DUMVEE set.

There is also one in Werner's Wings Black Jawk Med Evac conversion set.

Both sets are pretty pricey for just the back boards though.

you could scratch build one of those easy, get some styrene sheet, use some old sprue's from a kit, I make sure when I complete a kit to cut up the old un used sprues, as I use them for stirring paints, to mixing, to applying mud, to scratch building bits and pieces I might need.
