I have some pictures of the Schnellboat Kalotte (skull cap) all of which have a riveted construction. I was wondering:
1) was the Kalotte on the S-100 riveted or welded (I think my photos may be of a 38b, not an S-100), and
2) how accurate is the shape of the Kalotte on Revell's 1/72 S-100 Flak 38 Schnellboot?
Many thanks for responses,
David

The Revell S100 Schnellboote, both standard armament and flak are excellent representation of the real boats.

and yes the armored bridges were riveted.

Forgot to mention, so that there is no confusion, the Revell kits don't have the rivets, they should be added.

Other than that....great kits and if you would like to add photo etch that is available for these kits....it will further enhance these great kits.

Cheers,
Joe
