My grandfather was a Marine(the reason i am a Marine) in the Korean War. When asked about his time in the service all he would say was he was a "truck driver" and told one story of driving a "jeep radio truck". He passed away two years ago and i would like to build whatever it was he would have been driving. The only details i have is that he was in the Marine Corps from 1950-1956, he was not on the front lines, and he was a driver. Any info would really help. Pictures would be great.

I cannot post photos from where I am right now. Do a search for M38A1 GRC. There were several radios in use on the M38A1 which were correct for that time - the 3, 9, and 68 among them.
