Just looked at the "How to make a tent" on the front page... It says to use "Kitchen plastic" to stretch out over the frame.... Is that like Saran wrap? The clear plastic stuff? I'm puzzled...

Does paint actually stick to it? I figured it wouldn't... That's pretty flimsy stuff to... Drop a penny on the thing and it'll put a nice rip in it...

I think it depends on the brand. I would presume that if you bought the more costly version you would get one more durable. The article says to use enamels to paint the cling film. I tend to use painted handkerchiefs as a substitute for canvas.

Would enamal paint work with it or would it melt it? I woud think paint woud have a tendancy to flake off as well. But, an interesting idea.
