Hmmm yes it's me again and my silly questions...
I've got an M1A1 painted tan, so I used the Archer dry transfer decals to put on the chevrons,
I also got a M1A1 painted NATO scheme, so I thought let's use the waterslide decals provided by the kit (Academy)... Looked nice, didn't really see the transparent transfer paper... So I started airbrushing some dust (Tamiya Buff) and that went quit nice, I really liked it... Coming to the decals I sprayed a nice fine layer of dust over the decals and what happened?! The decals became shiney!!!!!
So now I'm stuck with a dusty tank, with BIG yellow SHINEY decals on the side....

Can anyone help me out here, I really have NO idea how to get the decals off and still not mess up the dust layer....
T(h)anks,
Jurgen

Jurgen, you might try spraying a flat laquer coat over all of this. It will provide two effects, it will seal the dust layer and will flatten the shint decals.

And if the dust layer 'disappears', reapply. With the flat coat over the decals, there should be no problem with them shining up again.
