I was originally going to use the base for a custom air cleaner, and part of the rest for an exhaust. I have since ditched those ideas in favor of something else.
Anyway, it's for sale - $45 plus actual shipping.

Rob,
Is it a brass or steel casing (I am presuming steel) and what round was it from? I might be interested...

Hi John.
It is indeed steel. If it were brass, I'd definitely use it as an oil tank for a build. The stamping says M148A1B1 to the best of my eyesight. It also has CRTG INERT M733 stenciled in ink on it, which suggests to me it was used for training AFTER it was fired. I base this on the fact the flash tube inside appears to have been used.
