Had to share this with you guys. Thought you'd get a kick out of it:

Just tried to airbrush Model Master aluminum metelizer for airbrush only. Never used it before. For some reason it wouldn't spray. Had to tip my AB over to force the paint into the path of the air. It comes out as a globby mess but what I was spraying was fine to be kinda messy. When I go to clean the AB I realize that I hadn't put the needle in! Every time I start to feel smart with this stuff, something like this happens to take me down a peg

Anyone else have similar stories?

I was trying to remove a clog, in my Badger Sotar 2020. I didn't want to take the whole thing apart, so I just removed the spray regulator. Mind, I have to paint outside. Well, on the Sotar, the only thing securing the tip is the spray regulator. OK, the tip is still in place. I try to go back to brushing, forgetting to put the regulator back on. The tip shot out, into the wild blue yonder. The cost: $36.

Had a cup full of paint, nothing coming out. Wanted to remove the needle protector of my Badger 100 to clean it, but instead removed the whole tip assembly which is like removing a plug from a sink. Cup emptied itself on my bench

Glad my mistake didn't cost me any money or ruin any of my work, which I'm guessing your's did Mat.

Small favors.
