I had originally intended to kit bash a flakpanzer. However, I realized I could finish it quicker and same some $20 by adding the pictured gun. I will be on a pillar attached to a slight recessed panel. What do you think, the pictured gun or wait for the flak 38?

Hello Matt,
Is this a paper panzer or is it based on an actually vehicle?
Cheers,
Joe

Paper panzer. I have also decided to kit bash a Panzerjager I B mit 7.5cm Stuk 40 L/48. This is where I got the idea for my current project.

Thank you, Joe. I'll be posting some pictures of it finished, soon. I just have to work out the exact details of how to mount the gun.

Hi
So what you are building is a Nashorn without the relevant changes the Germans made to create a functioning purpose built tank hunter.
I'd wait and get the Flak personally. At least it would be a genuine "Flak" whereas your example wouldn't be able to elevate enough.
Alan

I have already taken that into consideration. I will be using the same type of mount as the Hornisse. The deck will be nearly flush with the hull. The gun, itself will be mounted above the hull.
