Ok, here's the plan...

Some might find UP Diliman a weeeee bit far to meet the Elders of IPMS-Phils. (BAC), so why not meet at JMN at Harrisons not only to discuss about models but as well as IPMS plans as well.

Tentative date is 29th of December - be a Monday. 29th is considered a non-working holiday, moved by GMA from 30th, hence I reckon both public and private sectors will have no work on that day.

It'll be lunch time so that those from the Northern and Southern Territories can come just in time. (plus, we could all share in the meal hehehehehe!)

Any suggestions/advice/changes to the dates, etc. etc. are welcome.

BTW, why "Jiminy Cricket?" Like the previous op - Op:Little Infidels (Little InfideLS, this planned op is named after the meeting place - JMN - JiMiNy cricket.

EDIT (DATED 5.DEKABR.03): APPARENTLY, 27TH IS BOOKED ALREADY, AND THE 29TH IS APPARENTLY A WORKING DAY - SORRY, MY MISTAKE. IT HAS BEEN SUGGESTED THAT WE DO THIS ON THE 20TH. SO, IS IT A GO?

Buck: Family first. :-) And for lunch, there's Pizza Hut, Shakey's, and Yellow Cab. hehehehehe

SR: 8th December is a Monday. I reckon only institutions of religious organizations (e.g. DLSU and Ateneo) would only observe this as a holiday, whilst the rest of the secular world would have office and school. I'm not available on the 8th - and some might not be able as well since they're at work. But, regardless of date, do bring your models - especially the F22 and (if it's done) your entry for the "Death from Above" campaign. :-)

Hello! I'm back from the dead! I'll come but that is a tentative answer of course. Hmmmmm.......o Monday, I think we're going nowhere at that date so I think I'll be able to come. I'lll bring a model or two, a model rather, probably a figure. I'm thinking of getting the new MGunner from Tamiya the one in all Field gray uniform.

AW HELL! MY GOOF! MEA CULPA MAXIMA!

Apparently, I was disillusioned/ill-informed/duped in believing that the 29th be a holiday. Sorry, I WAS WRONG. Yeeeeeeeup. Call me an arse-headed eeeedjeeet!

Revise revise revise...

GOOD TO GO ON THE 28TH OF DEKABR?

GIBeregovoy: Yup, 29 December is a regular working day. However, it being the holiday season, some of us may be on leave, so pwede nating ituloy. 28 December is not good for us because that is our Christmas Party. We also have the Korea/Vietnam Internal Contest on that day. Since we're not strangers anymore, you guys are invited to come, of course.

Aye. I'll see if I can make it to the 28th one-way-or-the-other. Unfortunately, me have no mo leaves I think. Spent it all on me midterm/final exams of this year, plus enrolment, then the occassional plague... plus, end of the months are rather busy for us (even during Christmas season) so I'll be needed at the office.

Oh well... will have to look up for another date perhaps. All is tentative anyways.

GI,

Nullum crimen nullum sine poena lege (my latin's a bit rusty). We all just realized that the 29th IS a monday.

How about the 20th or the 21st?

Buck: Yeah I thought that GMA declared it a holiday. (bangs head on keyboard)

But indeed, it looks like 20th or 21st are promising.

So comrades, 20th or 21st - put it to a vote? :-)

But seriously, 20th, lunchtime, JMN - A GO? And if so, who's coming?

BTW, I'll be the communications center again for this Op (with SR as alternate hopefully hint hint) so, if it's a go, do PM me your cel numbers so as to establish LOCs.

I wish that the La Sallians among us - especially those currently at DLSU - could come. I'm suggesting perhaps an IPMS-Phils DLSU chapter, with the "mother organization" at UP Diliman (Ateneo - because of its proximity to UP Diliman, might fall under the UP Diliman chapter)...? Then perhaps plan a hobby tilt during University Week (tapos na ba yon?) to 1) spur interest in the hobby and 2) another excuse for us to meet. I reckon there are people at CSB who are also into this hobby.

If it's 20th, I'm in. DLSU Chapter? I love it! That will make my 5 year stay at DLSU happy.

Unless my wife has anything planned, I will be there on the 20th. What is the jump-off time?
