I am attempting to use a filter for the first time. I'm currently working on an M4 Late and I have painted the base coat with acrlics and done some color modulation.
My question is, should I apply a coat of future before I use the AK interactive filter? And at what point should I apply the decals?
Thanks in advance for all of your help.

Hi Douglas .
I always apply a coat of Future before using a Filter as the gloss finish helps the filter to flow onto the surface properly. I also usually apply decals after the Future coat- thr glossy finish helps them to adhere- just remember to give another quick spray of Future over the decals once they are dry before starting on the filter.
Hope this helps.
