Any good Spookies out there? I only find the 1:72 Italieri and can't find any detail sets.
Thanks

Testors (Italeri) also did a nice, big, 1/48th version as well. It is pretty nice.

If you are looking for a Good U model then I would say the answer is no. It you are looking for an H model then go with the Italeri or Airfix (reboxed Italeri). None of the kits have the correct air conditioning intakes for the Later birds and they akll have the GTC instead of APU, Also the wings have Square dry bay panels instead of Ovals. The square ones are from the OLD wings... Have never seen one in the 18 plus years I have been crawling around on them. Also, Do not worry about the Raised panel lines of the kit. Most of the Panel are sealed shut on a C-130 so they requirement for engraved panel lines can be easily fixed by you. Also if you decide to do a "Spectre" then the Forward guns, "1" and "2" are not used anymore. The 40mm is gun "5" and the 105 is gun "6". If you need anything else, don't hesetate to ask.

Been a Mechanic and a Flight Engineer on the HC-130P, MC-130H, and MC-130P for almost 20 years now.

Not Sure if you asking about the AC-130U "Spooky" or the AC-130H "Spectre" there is also the MC-130W or AC-130W "Dragon Spear"

Flightpath has some good detail sets in 72nd scale BTW.
